CURATED ELOPEMENTS / PHOTOGRAPHY & FILM

Your people.
Your kind of day.

A small celebration.
A whole lot of meaning.

I’m Rylee, a queer photographer and filmmaker, making photographs and films since 2015. I’ll help you shape the place and pace of your photographs, then leave room for you to be with the person you’re marrying.

Local or on-route elopements from $2,500

START WITH WHAT MATTERS TO YOU

What would you do
if the day felt like yours?

A day in the city.

Getting ready together, a small ceremony, a walk through a neighborhood you love, and a table for two.

Somewhere quieter.

A beautiful room, private vows, an easy walk, and time to take in the place you chose.

Your closest people.

A small circle, a few meaningful words, a meal together. Family can mean the people you choose.

These are ideas to build from. Locations, access, activities, and any outside bookings are confirmed for your own plans.

LOCAL OR ON-ROUTE ELOPEMENT

Thoughtfully shaped.
Honestly documented.

“Curated” means we make considered choices about location, light, and the rhythm of your photography coverage. You bring what matters to you; I help you work out how to photograph it.

We’ll talk about your people, priorities, and how much direction feels helpful. You can keep traditions, change them, or make room for something of your own.

SUPER 8 / 35MM / INSTANT FILM

A little grain.
A feeling you can keep.

Film is part of how I tell stories. Alongside digital photography, we can weave Super 8, 35mm, and instant film into your experience, choosing the formats that feel right for you.

Super 8

Moving images on film: the way you reach for each other, a breeze through the room, laughter between photographs. A little home-movie feeling.

35mm film

Still photographs with grain, texture, and the character of film. Another way to hold onto the light and feeling of the day.

Instant film

A photograph you can hold. Small, tangible pieces of the experience, with the imperfections that make each frame its own.

Tell me which formats you’re drawn to when you inquire. Your proposal confirms the film coverage, deliverables, and any additional cost before you book.

WHAT THE SUPPORT LOOKS LIKE

Someone to
think it through with.

I’ll help you consider a location that suits your plans and a photography timeline with room for the moments that matter. We’ll discuss practical access and what needs to be confirmed before settling on the plan.

You arrange your venue, accommodation, vendors, activities, and marriage paperwork. I’ll be clear about the guidance included and anything that needs a separate provider or quote.

Travel and location costs, applicable tax, coverage, deliverables, and delivery timing are confirmed in your proposal before you book.

Planning a full wedding day? Elopements are my primary focus, and I also photograph traditional weddings—from getting ready through the reception. Choose six, eight, or ten hours of coverage, with wedding collections from $3,500.

HOW WE BEGIN

You can start
with a feeling.

01 / TELL ME

What matters?

Share your ideas, approximate timing, and who might join you. You can ask questions before you have every detail decided.

02 / SHAPE THE PLAN

Make it workable.

We’ll discuss location, coverage, and your priorities. You receive a written proposal with the scope, full fee, retainer, and delivery details.

03 / MAKE IT YOURS

Reserve your date.

Your signed agreement and required retainer secure the booking. We refine the photography timeline together, then give you room to experience the day.

What could three hours look like?

An illustrative photography timeline, not a booked event. This assumes one venue and nearby portraits; travel between settings counts toward coverage.

  1. First 30 minutes: final getting-ready moments and meaningful details.
  2. Next 30 minutes: a small ceremony or private vows.
  3. Next 60 minutes: portraits, a walk, and time together.
  4. Final hour: photographs with chosen people, a toast, and the start of your celebration.

We adapt the time to your priorities. Longer celebrations can use the existing wedding collections.

PLACES WE COULD MEET

A place on the route.
Or a reason to go.

These are confirmed travel windows, not a guarantee of wedding availability. We’ll check your date, the setting, and access together.

Have somewhere else in mind? Explore the route or invite me your way. Existing commitments stay fixed.

HOW TO ELOPE / A PLACE TO BEGIN

A few things
you might be wondering.

Do we need to know exactly where and when?

You can start with an idea or an approximate month. If you know the state, use the inquiry below. If you’re still choosing a place, book a call and we can talk through the possibilities before you submit a location.

Can we bring family or friends?

Yes. Tell me who you’d like with you and the approximate guest count. We’ll consider the location’s capacity, access, and coverage together.

Does an elopement have to involve hiking?

No. A city, a meaningful building, or a quiet setting with easy access can shape a beautiful day. We’ll discuss your comfort and access needs when considering places.

Is this full wedding planning?

The collection includes light location and photography timeline assistance. Venue and vendor bookings, travel arrangements, activities, and event coordination are not included. We’ll define the scope clearly in your proposal.

What about paperwork and permissions?

Requirements depend on where and how you plan to marry. Confirm marriage paperwork with the relevant official office and location permission with the property manager. We’ll discuss how those arrangements affect the photography plan.

Do you photograph traditional weddings too?

Absolutely. Elopements are my primary focus, and I also photograph full wedding days with family, friends, a ceremony, and a reception. Wedding collections offer six, eight, or ten hours of coverage, starting at $3,500.

Can we add film or more time?

Yes. Super 8, 35mm film, and instant film can be woven into the experience. Film and additional coverage are quoted separately, with formats and deliverables confirmed before you book.

What if the weather changes?

We’ll discuss a practical alternative and agree on weather and rescheduling terms in your proposal and agreement. A location is only confirmed once access and permission are established.

Will you share our photographs?

Only with your separate permission. You can book photography without becoming part of the public project or portfolio.
